Boogie Bods® was created by principal teacher Jo Palmer who is a qualified Nursery Nurse with CRB check and 11 years experience within a variety of settings.
Having danced herself from childhood to adulthood, Jo hopes to inspire young children to go on to dance classes after the early years having attended Boogie Bods®.
Suitable from birth these sessions introduce music and rhythm to your baby or toddler.
Sit with your child and bounce to the beat!
Clap along and once able children join in with the actions to familiar songs and nursery rhymes, all played through our sound system.
A chance to meet other parents and carers, have quality one-to-one with your child and encourage developmental milestones in socialising, language, creativity and physical skills.
2 - 4 Years Music and Movement Session or 0 - 4 Years Family Sessions
For the child who loves to move, these upbeat sessions include scarf waving, stamping, jumping, action songs and imagination.
Pretend to "row your boat" or be a "Dingle Dangle Scarecrow" to build co-ordination, creativity and confidence.
4 - 6 Years Dance For Fun Session
A progression from music and movement, these Fun Dance Sessions include various dance styles but focus more on general movement.
Skip, jump, spin and gallop to popular children's music and theme tunes.
We also play simple dance games and practise following the teacher steps.
An informal exploration of movement designed to consolidate co-ordination and physical skills.

2½ - 5 Years Dance Along With Melody Bear®
This early years syllabus and introduction to dance is specially designed for Under 5's.
Melody Bear® and Melody Movement® classes encourage all areas of development through movement and dance.
Using a bear called Melody dressed ready for her dance class, children can go on a magical imaginative journey through the adventures of Melody and her friends. Classes may incorporate mime, stories, games and songs.
The Melody Movement® syllabus also fits into early learning goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
